Alexis Melson

Alexis Melson began her career in clinical research as a laboratory technician in 2002. She initially performed EKG’s, venipunctures and processed laboratory specimens. She is currently a PBT-1 certified phlebotomist. Her experience has allowed her to obtain a strong working knowledge of laboratory procedures and quality control.
Alexis was promoted to study coordinator in 2004 and coordinated 10 phase II –IV inpatient and outpatient studies. She became a senior coordinator in 2006, and served in that capacity on 15 phase I-IV studies. Her areas of specialty are CNS and Internal Medicine.
She enhanced her medical knowledge by attending American Career College in Los Angeles, where she received her LVN degree with honors in 2006. She maintains an active California LVN license.
